Chess game with living characters in Marostica.

The legend of the Chess Game taken from a text by Mirko Vucetich and dating back to 1454, is a historical reenactment that tells of a duel fought not with swords but through a game of the noble game of chess. Rinaldo d'Angarano and Vieri da Vallonara contend for the hand of the daughter of the Castellano di Marostica, the young and beautiful Lionora.

We were inspired by the Marostica chess game to name the products of the first Alzavola collection.

We started from here, from the tradition of our territory to give life to our project. A land certainly saturated with history, but also rich in skilled artisans proud to carry on their craft.
